"In my oral English test, I successfully got 29.5!!! (And the full score is 30) I was really really excited. Because of your excellent teaching, my spoken English has improved a lot. So when the results come out, I want to tell you the news immediately. Now I don't know what to say to express my gratitude."

Diversity in all its forms is the path to greatness.” — James D Wilson

Philly program students participated in a trivia contest about Lunar New Year. Before the contest, students were taught the history, background, and appreciation of traditions/cultures a part of the holiday. After prizes and awards were announced, all students engaged in a reflective and insightful discussion about cultural appreciation and open-mindedness. Students learned important values and some trivia knowledge! Together, we help to eliminate cultural ignorance and empower the next generation of global-minded leaders.

In today’s world, health literacy is more important than ever. Many youth grow up without a strong understanding of science, leaving them unprepared to make important decisions about their health. We hope to tackle this issue by fostering critical thinking and active learning at a young age, empowering the next generation of healthcare leaders, environmental advocates, and more!

Course description: These classes are taught by high school tutors who have carefully crafted their curriculum and lesson plans. In this course, students are introduced to foundational scientific knowledge and career exploration in medicine/science. Tutors use interactive activities, mini experiments, and real-world scenarios to introduce topics and their relevance to the community around us. We recommend 5th graders and middle schoolers take these new courses, but any interested student is welcome anytime to learn!
