Centered in New Jersey, the PLE Greater Princeton Branch’s mission is to advance educational equity by providing students with free, accessible virtual tutoring. Classes are taught by qualified high school students with high GPAs and top scores on state tests. Students have reported grade increases and feeling more confident on standardized tests after taking PLE Greater Princeton courses.

Courses Offered
Reading

Grades 2-4

These courses help students develop fluency in reading American English.
Science

Grades 3-6

These courses cover topics including the scientific method, ecosystems, forces, and chemistry.
Math

Grades 3-8

These courses act as enforcement to the topics covered in standard public-school curriculum.
Coding (Python)

Grades 6+

This course teaches basic coding principles using the Python language.
Contest Math

Grade 5+

This course challenges students with a passion for math with contest problems. It is a crash course in algebra, number theory, combinatorics, and geometry geared towards the AMC 8/MATHCOUNTS level. 

Prerequisites: Complete grasp on arithmetic (includes arithmetic with fractions, decimals, percents, etc.) 
Intro to Physics

Grade 7+

This course is designed for students completely new to physics. It will cover basic vocabulary and concepts such as velocity, Newton’s laws, and kinematics.
Art

Grade 2-6

This course encourages students to develop their creativity and artistic talents through lessons on shadows, patterns, and perspective.
History

Grades 7+

This course covers topics in European and American history including the 13 colonies, major wars, and westward expansion.

Sean is a student at Montgomery High School with an interest in STEM.  He learns and teaches on both of these topics, including computer science and math. He enjoys playing tennis and sleeping when he can.

Benjamin Meerson

Benjamin Meerson goes to Montgomery High School. He is passionate about learning new languages and playing chess. He is currently fluent in four languages and learning three others. He frequently plays chess competitively. He enjoys nature and spends some time each day walking around outside. He has an older sister.
