Meet the current board:

President: Abhinav Arul

My name is Abhinav Arul and I am currently a freshman at Montgomery High School. I joined Princeton Learning Experience because I want to make change in my own community. Change is interesting because it is always constant, and I believe as members of the Montgomery community, we need to constantly adapt and improve what we offer to the children. When I was younger, I always felt curious as to what the school doesn’t teach me, and when I wanted to search for additional learning, there just weren’t any. Now, Kushal and I have created a branch of the wonderful nonprofit and we aim to give support to children who look to get advanced, regular tutoring or if a child needs extra help. Tutoring now to me is not a job that I do just to get volunteer hours anymore, but rather an opportunity to be a pillar of inspiration for my community and those around me and help the future generation of teenagers. Whatever a child needs, PLE Montgomery is here to help.
Vice President: Kushal Cerlakola

Hello, my name is Kushal Cerlakola, and I’m a freshman attending Montgomery High School. When I joined this program, I had become a tutor simply because it seemed like a unique experience. Little did I know it would turn into much more than that. What began as an effort to help students turned out very quickly to be a passion of guiding and helping students. That’s when I realized that tutoring is not just teaching concepts, but building confidence, sparking curiosity, and helping kids see their potential. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch a student go from struggling to succeeding and from doubt to confidence. Now, tutoring isn’t just something I do, but something that inspires me every day.
